Bali · 4 to 6 days
Best time: May to October, the dry season. From the airport: Taxi to Kuta or Seminyak in 15 to 30 minutes, to Ubud in about 1 h 30. Don't miss: the rice terraces around Ubud, the temples of Tanah Lot and Uluwatu, the beaches of the south.
Singapore · 2 to 3 days
Best time: February and March. From the airport: MRT train to the centre in 30 to 45 minutes, or taxi in about 20 minutes. Don't miss: Gardens by the Bay, the hawker centres, Chinatown and Little India.

Allow 6 to 9 days on the ground for the whole trip, not counting flight days.
